Tindari & Laghetti di Marinello Nature Reserve

This tour will give you the opportunity to discover the beauty of one of the most beautiful stretches of our coast characterized by wide stretches of sandy beach, alternating with rocky stretches. The Nature Reserve of the Laghetti di Marinello can certainly be considered as one of the most unspoiled places in the whole of Sicily, in which quite rare species of fauna and flora coexist.

Departing from Porto Santa Maria Maggiore, our navigation will begin by skirting Capo Milazzo to its tip, from here you can admire the enchanting Aeolian Archipelago
We will continue to Baia di Sant’Antonio one of the most striking points of the Marine Protected Area of Capo Milazzo located at the foot of the church of the same name built into the rock. Here we will make a short stop and swim in the crystal-clear colored sea.
Direction Tindari and Nature Reserve of the Laghetti di Marinello; as soon as we are about to approach you will already be able to see and admire the Sanctuary built in honor of the Black Madonna, located on top of a mountain with a breathtaking view of a brackish lagoon, which changes shape under the push of the wind and tides. A white strip of gravel and sand marks the boundary between the lake and the sea.
We will spend our time enjoying the beauty of the Nature Reserve in total relaxation, finally resuming our return sailing to the port of departure.

We will then proceed our route and along the navigation you can admire another example of the volcanic nature of our archipelago with the imposing volcanic hills of Pietra Lunga and Pietra Menalda, the so-called “Faraglioni di Lipari” under which we will take a nice selfie.
We will continue the route as far as Salina in the village of Lingua where it is highly recommended to disembark for lunch and go to taste the famous “Pane Cunzatu ” at Alfredo’s, a typical dish of the Aeolian culinary tradition.
Set sail again, we will go for a swim in the crystal clear waters in front of the village of Pollara where we will admire the beach composed of large stones between the rocks, there is not a lot of space, but this is what makes it unique and intimate, set inside an amphitheater-shaped cliff.
As we sail back to Lipari, however, you will be stunned by the brilliant white of the rock mountains and the very famous pumice quarries with their white sand beaches and crystal clear sea. Here, too, we will stop and you can take a dip and swim in these crystal-clear waters that make this landscape unique. Possibility to disembark on the island to take a walk in the center and along the boulevards of Marina Corta and Marina Lunga before starting our return sailing to the port of departure.

Possibility to disembark on the island for a simple drink at the most renowned terraces such as Raya and Banacali’ or a stroll among the many small stores on the harbor.
Set sail again, set course for Stromboli the most striking island for the extraordinary phenomenon of the Sciara del Fuoco with its rapid slope formed of lava and lapilli that descend from the crater to the sea. Stromboli is one of three volcanoes still active in Italy.
