Departure from Santa Maria Maggiore harbor. We will enjoy our navigation across the beautiful Mediterranean Sea and, with a bit of luck, we might even have the chance to be guided by dolphins along the way.

First stop and swim at Punta dell’Asino, in front of the beautiful namesake black sand beach. The typical color originates from lava flows due to the volcanic nature, still visible today from the numerous fumaroles and mud pools, such as those near Porto di Levante.

Our crew will provide you with the necessary equipment and will accompany you in the exploration of the marvelous seabeds. The dive is preceded by a briefing to ensure everything is done in complete safety. As you fin among the submerged rocks, discovering a surprise around every corner, you may encounter groupers, white seabreams, amberjacks, and moray eels. We will take care of bringing the catch on board and letting you taste some typical dishes of Aeolian cuisine, prepared right before your eyes.

Resuming navigation along the coast, we will admire the extraordinary beauty of the island with its strong sulfur smell until we pause at the richest and most interesting area where the Pools of Venus and the Cave of the Horse are located. Here we will make a short stop with the chance for some diving and swimming.

We will then continue our route, and along the navigation you will be able to admire another example of the volcanic nature of our archipelago with the imposing volcanic hills of Pietra Lunga and Pietra Menalda, the so-called “Faraglioni of Lipari,” under which we will take a nice selfie and stop for another dive.

Opportunity to go ashore on the islands for a walk and to buy a souvenir before we start our navigation back to the departure harbor.
